Why does each hoodie in the Kimberley Camo range have different features?

When we decided to do a series based on a different Kimberley location, we wanted not only each pattern to represent that area or river but wanted the shirt to reflect what you would genuinely need or use in a shirt if you were stuck in that location for a period of
time.

Who is Sam Birch, the Ord River story teller?

Sam “Birchy” Birch is a proud Balangarra man who is born and bred in Wyndham. Today, Sam shares his knowledge through Birchy's Fishing Tours, taking people deep into some of the most remote Kimberley
locations to fish, explore ancient rock art and experience this country the way it was meant to be experienced.

What was the mindset when designing the Ord Camo pattern and hoodie?

We wanted the Ord Camo to be a more traditional camo pattern drawing colour inspiration from the local foliage so you could blend into the riverbank seamlessly.

For the shirt, we opted for a no fuss design
where survival was paramount, a no-frills type of approach without compromising the quality of the fabric.

Are your hoodies designed to be worn in water?

With a fabric make up of 86% polyester, 14% spandex, moisture-wicking, quick drying, anti- bacterial knit they are designed to keep you sun protected and dry while in the scorching sun.

Whilst not a rash vest, they are completely fine to be used as sun protection in the water while cooling off.

How was the idea for the Kimberley Camo range born?

The initial concept came from wanting to create high quality performance adventure shirts inspired by and worn in the places we love.

We realised we needed people that have been shaped by these amazing places to tell their story like Sam did here for the Ord Camo collection.
